TGIF
L was home with a fever today, three days after returning to school following an eternal spring break. I am currently surrounded by sick day detritus: my work is spread out on the dining table, bottles of various pain relievers litter the counter, dishes are stacked high in the sink, and the bin is full of crumpled up tissues. And L may have permanently become one with the couch.
Looks like I’m in for a wild Friday night of tidying up the house. As we speak, there is a massive pile of laundry staring me down, judging me for not folding it right this second.* For a household of only two people, one of whom is half my size, I do a shocking amount of laundry. How do bigger families do it?!
SPOILER ALERT. It’s now Saturday morning and the laundry is still in a pile. It’s just staring at me from a different corner of the apartment. Not to mention the dust bunnies creeping around the baseboards. Those assholes are judgy AF too.
